Condenser

The condenser is the part of a car's air conditioning system that condenses the injected refrigerant and releases heat into the atmosphere.  It is mounted at the front of the car, usually with the coolant radiator behind it and the condenser at the very front.

When should the condenser be replaced?

The condenser of the air conditioning system is the part of the car that normally has no expiry date, but it is the most vulnerable part of the air conditioning system, as it is not only exposed to mechanical damage, but also to electrochemical corrosion It is often replaced if there is a blockage, corrosion or mechanical damage. Condenser failures can be indicated by a sudden switching off or reduction of the air conditioner, an increase in system pressure, or an increase in the amount of moisture inside the car. Untreated and inefficient condensate can cause air conditioner failures.
