Radiator

The radiator is part of the cooling system. Its main function is to cool the water that flows from the engine's water reservoir into the radiator. There is no exact limit to the life of a cooling radiator. Replacement of the part is required if the part is not airtight or due to mechanical damage. If the antifreeze runs out, it is possible to add water out of trouble, a leaky hose can be sealed with masking tape, but the radiator will have to be repaired if it allows liquids to escape.

When should a radiator be replaced?

Problems with the radiator can be indicated by a coolant leak. This can be indicated by the smell of antifreeze in the car's interior or under the bonnet. A light on in the dashboard will tell you if the engine may be overheating or if the coolant is leaking.
