Fuse Box

When a fault occurs in an electrical circuit, a short circuit occurs and it overloads. This overheats the wires and windings of the generator and can boil the electrolyte in the battery. Fuses are used to prevent this from happening.  Fuses are designed to protect electrical circuits from overload and short circuits by cutting off the supply when they detect a voltage surge.

When to replace the fuse box (block)?

The fuse box must be replaced if it burns out or suffers mechanical damage. Fuses can burn out due to damage to an electrical assembly, to a component of the wiring or to the wiring itself, to a voltage surge, to the incorrect use of the fuse manufacturer's fuse, to improper contact between the fuse and the casing. The fuse block may not only burn out but also melt, damaging other components.
